Cottonwoods or aspens that are hanging too close to the roofline require careful attention on properties in Ellensburg, WA. Handling a Tree Trimming project on an Ellensburg property takes a bit of forethought, especially when you factor in the strong Kittitas Valley winds and dry summers. If you want the job done right without running into surprises, here is how Coastal Tree Inc maps it out from start to finish.
The Timeline: When to Schedule and How Long It Takes
Timing matters around here in Ellensburg, WA. Most deciduous trees are best pruned during their dormant winter months when you can clearly see the branch structure and minimize stress on the tree. That said, light maintenance pruning can happen at other times depending on the species of Trees. Once you reach out to a crew like Coastal Tree Inc for Tree Trimming, expect a site visit within a few days to evaluate the scope of work. A standard residential Tree Trimming project usually takes anywhere from a few hours to a full day, depending on how many mature trees you have on your lot.
What to Expect on Trimming Day
When the crew shows up for Tree Trimming, they will walk through the plan with you to make sure everyone is on the same page. You will hear chainsaws and chippers running, and you will see climbers up in the canopy or crew members operating bucket trucks. Coastal Tree Inc takes care to protect your turf, fencing, and nearby perennial beds during Tree Trimming. By the time they pack up, all the branches are chipped, the heavy wood is processed, and your yard in Ellensburg is raked clean.
How to Prep Your Yard
Property owners do not need to do heavy lifting, but a little prep helps the crew work safely and efficiently. Move patio furniture, potted plants, and vehicles away from the drop zones underneath the target Trees. If you keep your gates locked, make sure to unlock them so the crew can get their gear and chippers into the backyard without having to track you down.
